Spiral dispenser with return unit

The all-rounder for secure 24/7 material supply

The S-Mat spiral dispenser reliably issues safety equipment, consumables and production supplies around the clock and takes worn products back through its integrated return unit.

The S-Mat spiral dispenser is a versatile all-rounder for modern, secure and efficient material supply. It is ideal for issuing safety equipment, consumables or production supplies and guarantees reliable 24/7 availability of important items.

Efficiency and economy

The S-Mat saves space and time and lowers labour and administrative costs through greater efficiency. Maintenance is economical and spare parts are easy to obtain. Thanks to an integrated uninterruptible power supply, the dispenser is ready for use around the clock.

Design

The housing is a welded frame construction with panelling and Vivak protective door surfaces, rated IP44 / IK05. The surface is textured and powder-coated, with a configurable colour. The dispenser is operated via a 10.1-inch colour touchscreen on the right-hand side of the machine.

Inside there are six perforated, pull-out shelves as standard, expandable to seven. Products can be separated with dividers, and dispensing takes place via electric 24V geared motors or dispensing spirals. Label rails on the front of the shelves keep everything clearly organised, and an energy-saving cold-light LED panel provides bright illumination.

Security and control

A card reader identifies users, while individual permissions and withdrawal limits govern access. A concealed electromechanical lock secures the access door and a dedicated security lock the service door. An optional horizontal airlock door separates the dispensing pocket from the shelf area, protecting against theft. All stock movements are logged, and the current inventory can also be accessed over the network.

Return unit

The integrated return unit enables the safe, environmentally conscious and space-saving return of consumables right where they are used. The return process is monitored by optoelectronic sensors. Because a new withdrawal depends on the worn product being returned, the result is effective control, transparency throughout the service-life cycle and accurate wear statistics. A swing door makes it easy to return bulky items.

Control and connectivity

Control runs on purpose-developed software with a user-friendly, multilingual interface. Stock management is handled on a separate networked computer. A LAN network is required for installation and operation, and power is supplied via a 230 V mains connection.
